The AVEVA™ System Platform Part 1 course is a 5-day*, two-part instructor-led class designed to provide an overview of the features and functionality of AVEVA Application Server and AVEVA InTouch for System Platform. This course provides lectures and hands-on labs to supply and reinforce the knowledge necessary to use these features and functions for plant modeling and HMI design. (*Please note: Phoenix, AZ onsite courses are a 4-day course.)

The AVEVA™ System Platform Part 2 course is a 4-day, instructor-led class designed to provide a fundamental understanding of the features and functionality of AVEVA Historian for both AVEVA Application Server and AVEVA InTouch HMI applications. This course provides lectures and hands-on labs to present and reinforce the knowledge necessary to use Historian for SCADA and factory data. This information includes configuring, historizing, and retrieving historical data as well as retrieving auto-summary data, implementing data replication to a remote historian, and inserting, updating, and importing historical data.

The tag-based AVEVA™ InTouch HMI Comprehensive course is a 5-day* instructor-led class that explains how to create and configure a stand-alone InTouch application using Industrial Graphics. The course provides a fundamental understanding of the basic principles of InTouch HMI visualization software and the steps necessary to develop a human-machine interface (HMI) system for a plant floor or facility. You are guided through the setup, layout, best practice concepts, features, and functions of the InTouch HMI software platform. Hands-on labs reinforce concepts and features. (*Please note: Phoenix, AZ onsite courses are a 4-day course.)

The Operations & Maintenance for AVEVA™ System Platform course is a 2-day course that teaches system owners how to maintain and troubleshoot their applications to maximize uptime and minimize downtime. Students will learn how the System Platform components work together and how to utilize the Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for monitoring and troubleshooting. Students will be instructed on the use of diagnostic tools, system event loggers, troubleshooting techniques, security and maintenance approaches, and how to access available support resources.

The AVEVA™ Edge course is a 4-day, instructor-led class designed to provide a fundamental understanding of the AVEVA Edge software’s features and functionality. The software enables users and machine builders to quickly create intuitive, secure, and highly maintainable HMI applications. The course provides lectures and hands-on labs to supply and reinforce the knowledge needed to use the software to develop an HMI for a plant floor environment using basic software elements. InduSoft users can use the InduSoft software during the class, but the manual only addresses AVEVA Edge 2020. (Please note that InduSoft Web Studio is now AVEVA Edge.)

The OMI Client for System Platform* course is a 4-day, instructor-led class designed to provide an overview of the features and functionalities released with the Operations Management Interface (OMI) software. It covers the components and capabilities of the software and topics to help you build and deploy an OMI visualization application for System Platform. It also introduces tools for creating graphics, visualizing alarms, events, trends, and history, and implementing security in an OMI application. Hands-on labs are provided to reinforce the knowledge necessary to use the AVEVA™ Operations Management Interface software. (*Successful completion of Q-mation’s System Platform Part 1 course (or) equivalent working System Platform experience is a prerequisite for this training course.)

MES Operations and Performance is a 5-day instructor-led class designed to teach the AVEVA™ MES Operations and Performance modules. Students will learn how to configure and define an operations model, products, and production capabilities using MES Operations. Operations material will demonstrate parameter download/upload and data collection and how to report traceability and genealogy information. Performance training will teach configuring and deploying a data collection system to analyze and report equipment utilization, availability, quality, and performance.

The MES Quality course is a 2-day, instructor-led class designed to provide a working knowledge of the features and functionality of the AVEVA™ MES Quality software module. This course provides lectures and hands-on labs to supply and reinforce the knowledge necessary to use the MES Quality software module to address the configuration and deployment of a data collection system, which allows for the analysis and reporting of quality management data using a sample recording object.

The AVEVA™ Batch Management course is a 5-day, instructor-led class designed to provide a fundamental understanding of the features and functionality of the AVEVA Batch Management software. The course provides lectures and hands-on labs to supply and reinforce the knowledge necessary to apply Batch Management to a batch processing application. This includes creating the plant model, creating recipes, and simulating their execution.

The AVEVA™ Reports for Operations technical training course is a 3-day, instructor-led class designed to give students a fundamental understanding of the Reports for Operations software. AVEVA Reports for Operations is the leading programming-free, user-friendly reporting solution created specifically for industrial automation. It was designed to be the simplest solution to extract data from almost any control system (PLCs, HMIs, standard protocols), process Historians, and open databases.

The Plant SCADA (Citect) tag-based course is a 4-day, instructor-led class focused on HMI application design. The course uses lectures and hands-on labs to provide a fundamental understanding of the basic principles of the Plant SCADA visualization module and the steps to develop a Human Machine Interface (HMI) system for your specific plant floor. You will be guided through the Plant SCADA software platform’s setup, layout, best practice concepts, features, and functions. Hands-on labs will reinforce concepts and features.

The AVEVA™ Work Tasks course is a 5-day, instructor-led class designed to provide a basic understanding of the software as an extension to Business Process Management (BPM) strategies to create end-to-end manufacturing scenarios across systems and human workforces. The course provides lectures and hands-on labs to illustrate the configuration, definition, execution, and analysis of digital workflows using the System Platform Extension and Connector for integration with Application Server.

The Model-Driven MES with AVEVA™ MES course is a 3-day, introductory instructor-led class designed to provide an overview of the model-driven MES (Manufacturing Execution System) framework. This course includes a comprehensive overview of using AVEVA Work Tasks to build MES solutions, including best practices and recommendations. Topics will be presented in lecture format and reinforced through hands-on exercises.

The AVEVA™ Mobile Operator course is a 3-day, instructor-led class that includes lectures and hands-on labs designed to provide an understanding of Mobile Operator, a suite of configurable software, and rugged mobile hardware products providing workflow, procedural, and general task management capabilities. Mobile Operator functionality typically focuses on plant operations, maintenance management, production tracking, and compliance applications for mobile field workers. This course addresses the fundamental concepts of setting up security and bases, creating groups and users, creating data filters, setting up assets, and developing/working with shifts and schedules. In addition, the course covers working with Procedure Builder for procedure creation and management, List Manager, Asset Detail Manager, AVEVA Mobile Operator, Auditor Plus, and Mobile Operator SSRS Reports.
